1. Brightness dynamic range


HDR display requires a higher brightness dynamic range. Conventional LCD or other display methods only have a brightness range of 40-400nit, while LED display brightness can reach a brightness range of 0.5-1200nit. Compared with other display methods, The dynamic ratio of LED display brightness is larger and more in line with HDR display requirements.

2. Grayscale


The HDR display standard requires a video color depth of 10 bits. Compared with the conventional video color depth of 8 bits, the gray scale is expanded by 4 times. 3. Color gamut


The color gamut requirement of the regular display SDR mode is RC.709, and the HDR color gamut is BT.2020. The color rendering index is much better than RC.709.
